Making a full sized quilt takes a lot of time - now and then I just want to sit down and play at the sewing machine. This time a stack of new fabrics and my trusty bible of 1000 quilt blocks conspired to come up with these quilt blocks that are just right for a smaller space where you want a bit of color. Each block is layered with high loft batting for dimensionality and stretched over a 12 inch canvas frame complete with hardware for hanging. I found a hook with a needle thin brad that makes a very small hole in the wall - perfect if you happen to be a renter. As you can see, I have made a set of red, blue and gold/brown blocks. I am open to doing custom color sets if you are interested - just convo me and let's see what we can do.
