Our quilt guild had a fabric challenge and selected for us the small center square which is a geometric pattern. The challenge was to design and make a quilt using that material and this is the piece I showed the guild. Each square is unique - big square, small square, offset square. I just cut and audition on my design wall until it just comes together. The back is also pieced in dark green and pale green so you have two quilts for the price of one. The binding is a dark green double fold that is machine stitched to both sides for added durability.
The quilting is an all over pattern that I like - a jagged meander. The batting is a medium loft to give the quilt some texture without being heavy. This item was proudly made here in the United States.
